On December 27, 2024, the NHSO and DGA held a press conference to announce their collaboration in providing the “30 Baht for All Healthcare” service on the “<\/span> Thang Rath\u00a0 Application.” This partnership aims to increase the accessibility of the National Health Security Card (30 Baht program) for citizens by enabling online verification and usage through the super app developed by DGA. Dr. Jadet Thammathatchaaree, Secretary-General of the NHSO, stated that today marks another significant step in the development of the National Health Security System. This is made possible through the collaboration between NHSO and DGA, which connects the National Health Security Card (30 Baht Program) with the “Thang Rath”, a government super app developed by DGA. The app integrates services from various government agencies to enable citizens to access services through a single online platform. Today, it also includes the NHSO’s “30 Baht for All Healthcare” policy.<\/span><\/p>

This collaboration offers an additional option for holders of the National Health Security Card <\/span>
<\/span>(30 Baht Program). It links the right to healthcare, service access information, health data, and the ability to search for hospitals and service units within the system. It also enables users to verify their National Health Security rights as an alternative to using their ID card when accessing services via the Thang Rath Application. Importantly, the app stores personal health service history, allowing users to review their health data from past services. Moreover, data security is ensured, as only the data owner has access to their personal information. All of this supports the “30 Baht for All Healthcare” service policy.<\/span><\/p>

However, apart from using the National Health Security Office (NHSO) app, Line NHSO @nhso, and the Paotang app’s Health Wallet menu, which are currently available for verifying the rights of 30 Baht Program beneficiaries, the NHSO has now introduced another verification channel via the Thang Rath Application. This provides citizens with various channels to confirm their rights and enhances confidence when accessing services. This service is now available for use. Previously, the NHSO also collaborated with DGA on the “Governance Framework and Open Government Data Development Project,” which supported the provision of health data within the National Health Security System for use by both government agencies and the public through the website data.go.th.<\/span><\/p>

Mrs. Airada Luangvilai, DGA Senior Executive Vice President and Acting President, stated that DGA is pleased that the Thang Rath Super App is another channel that facilitates citizens’ access to the \u201c30 Baht for All\u201d healthcare service more conveniently. Citizens can access services through the Thang Rath App without the need to carry their national ID card to request rights and receive services. For the 39 million users who have already downloaded the app, they will easily access 6 new features of the \u201c30 Baht for All\u201d service, including: 1. Viewing health check results from Health Link, 2. Using healthcare rights without needing the national ID card (simply scan a QR code), 3. Changing healthcare service providers independently, <\/span>
<\/span>4. Searching for healthcare facilities, 5. Paying or reimbursing medical expenses after treatment, and 6. Checking basic health insurance policy information to access services.<\/span><\/p>

In addition, citizens can complete all healthcare steps without needing their ID cards, which reflects the government’s commitment to reducing complexity and providing continuous access to public health services. The Thang Rath App is now a One-Stop Service for public sector services, enabling users to “Know, Submit, Pay, and Receive,” such as accessing personal data, welfare rights (e.g., social security, child support grants, credit bureau information), as well as paying utility bills, traffic fines, and more. The Thang Rath App offers over 172 government services and has an average of more than 500,000 users daily, fulfilling the needs of citizens of all ages and families.
