This initiative aimed to enhance the efficiency of information network systems within the public sector and elevate better communication and integration across government agencies. Furthermore, other activities were carried out to support information technology use among government agencies. The powers, duties, and operations of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) under the Science and Technology Development Act, B.E. 2534 (1991), specifically related to Government Information Technology Services (GITS), along with responsibilities for developing information and communication technology (ICT) for e-Government previously handled by the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, were transferred to the Electronic Government Agency (Public Organization) (EGA) under the supervision of the Minister of Information and Communication Technology. Subsequently, the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology was renamed to the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society. The organization was responsible for overseeing the development of digital government initiatives and operated under the supervision of the Prime Minister, under the Office of the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister delegated the responsibility for overseeing the Digital Government Development Agency (Public Organization) (DGA) to Mr. Paradorn Prissananantakul, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister&#8217;s Office. This transformation underscores the commitment to realizing a true digital government. The rebranding included the introduction of a new logo and updated color palette to align with its refreshed vision and mission as follows.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Orange <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 represents being a modern organization, ready to adapt to technology, and constantly encouraging creativity in new things.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Dark blue<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 represents being a trustworthy, reliable, and professional organization, serving as a Smart Connector to connect all agencies, paving the way for a digital government.
