The development of government operations in the digital age, with data being a key factor in driving organizations to achieve their goals, relies on using data as a fundamental basis for decision-making including leveraging data to develop innovation further, as well as applying data to support the advancement of policies in both the economic and social sectors for the benefit of the country. However, in order to fully utilize data effectively, it is essential to have effective data management practices within a governance framework. This is crucial for promoting the control of data quality, ensuring that data can be used appropriately and beneficially.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

This aligns with the key provisions of the Digitalization of Public Administration and Service Delivery Act B.E. 2562 (2019), which establishes data governance as a framework for managing data within government agencies.
